Badly Bloated Blogs (And How To Avoid Them)

A few weeks ago I contributed my first entry to the blog. This may not seem like much to most people (actually I should say everyone), but this was a large deal for me because it meant that the sites build is in a stable enough state for public use. So - being the milestone that it was - I ran the publish script, broke out a drink, and relaxed for a few minutes as I knew the hardest part was behind me.

As I was describing the site to a cohort the next day he asked me a simple question: why go through the trouble of building a blog platform from scratch?

Well, good friend, I'm glad you asked. Let me show you in detail.

In With The New

Hello and welcome! Allow me to introduce myself and this site. My name is Bryan and I'm a software developer, although I prefer the term computer scientist for the sake of accuracy.

This is ZeroCodeDesign, a website slash personal blogging platform slash the masters paladins guide. I built this site because I felt something was missing in my day to day life. I wanted a way to publish portions of my ideas and their end products. I wish to share, teach, document, and - most importantly - learn. And ZeroCodeDesign is the medium of which to do so.
